Lulama Booi

Lulama has over thirteen years of experience in the financial services industry including banking and insurance. She is currently the Head of Treasury, Funding and Liquidity within MMI Holdings Ltd’s Balance Sheet Management Function. Her experience includes positions in Finance, Credit Risk Management, Balance Sheet Management and Treasury.  Lulama is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) who started her career at Standard Bank Group Ltd where she also completed her articles. She currently serves as a member on the MMI Shareholder Credit Committee, Trustee on the MMI Masikhulise Enterprise and Supplier Development Trust, and Non-Executive director of the MMI Foundation.  She is the Training Officer for the MMI SAICA Training Programme.  She also serves on the board of the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) Forum, a non-profit organisation which supports the development of young black women.
