Lyle Foster

Lyle was initially scouted by Augusto Palacios before he had the chance to trial with the Orlando Pirates Academy at the tender age of 12. Since then, “Castro” has featured in every division within the Club’s development and was recently, and deservedly, promoted to the first team. His first professional appearance was against Maritzburg United, a moment he termed as “very emotional for the family” because his childhood dream had come true. He hopes to make history with the Buccaneers, and to lift trophies with the Club for the supporters.

Outside of football, this young and tenacious striker enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and is a keen PlayStation player. Lyle’s favourite player is Harry Kane.
