Lynda Mataka
Lynda Mataka is a Chevening scholar. She holds a Masters Degree in International Business Law from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom). She was awarded the David Livingstone award (a British Council award) for being the most promising scholar in the year 2000. Lynda also holds an LL.B Degree from the University of Zambia and a Postgraduate certificate in Legal Drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE). She is a qualified Advocate of the High Court of Zambia and a member of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ).
Lynda began her Legal career as a Senior Parliamentary Counsel in the Government of the Republic of Zambia’s Ministry of Legal Affairs between 1998 and 2002. She then worked with the Bank of Zambia as an Inspector for 13 months after which she rose to Legal Counsel Advisory at the Bank of Zambia. She is currently practicing law as a Partner in the Law firm TMS Legal Practitioners in Lusaka, Zambia.
