Malick Lingani
Malick Lingani is a Social Entrepreneur with over seven years of experience in software development. In 2013 he co-founded Magic Touch SARL, a company specialized in ICT and data development. Malick is a 2016 School of Data fellow and is an open data and data literacy advocate and practitioner. Malick works to empower youth with computer coding and entrepreneurship skills in Burkina Faso. He is interested in mobile insurance and is currently building a data product to help broaden health coverage to underprivileged people. In 2010, Malick co-founded BEOG-NEERE, an NGO that works to advance democracy and human rights and to succeed the OGP in Burkina Faso. Malick Lingani graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences and Management from the University of Ouagadougou in 2009. He successfully completed the John Hopkins University Data Science Specialization through Coursera in 2015. After the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), Malick plans to use his entrepreneurship skills to establish a network that will help him advance his business initiatives.
