Manyima Bojang
Manyima Bojang is legal manager for the Gambia Revenue Authority where she provides expert advice on revenue laws and court representation. Manyima Bojang was a magistrate and chairperson of the children’s court and is the assistant secretary for the Female Lawyers Association to advocate for rights of women and children. As president of her village youth association, she volunteers in advocacy, community and youth development. She holds a Bachelor in Law degree from the University of the Gambia and Barrister in Law from the Gambia Law School. Her long-term goal is to set up a local NGO to advocate for the rights of women and children. Her short term goal is to find a scholarship to do her Master’s degree in the area of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), she plans to continue advocating for human rights and to train youths in local skills.
