Maria Megameno Nehale

Maria Megameno Nehale has over seven years of experience in education. Currently, Maria is a teacher at a local government school, where she teaches English as a foreign language. She also offers free English classes in her community and is a member of an English club, in which they discuss problems affecting their community. Maria holds a Bachelor in Linguistic English from the University of ISCED in Huila, Angola. Maria Megameno Nehale is driven to empower women through education and furthering women’s rights. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Maria plans to defend women’s empowerment and education and promote entrepreneurship among youth.
