Marian Ewurama Wiredu
Marian Ewurama Wiredu is a land economist and social entrepreneur and co-founder of IT4Teens, a non-profit IT initiative that offers free and comprehensive IT training to young people from ages 8-35 years with an emphasis on a competency-based approach. In addition to serving as the general manager of IT4Teens in charge of office administration, public relations and program coordinating, Ewurama volunteers her time with Run the Change, a non-profit initiative that empowers young girls and teenage mothers.Marian Ewurama Wiredu serves as a mentor, facilitator, and a counsellor. Ewurama holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and has over seven years’ experience in administration, public relation, and youth empowerment. Upon completion of the Fellowship, Marian plans to put to good use the knowledge gained to effectively manage the social entity, to ensure longevity and expansion, and to reach out to more deprived communities.
