Born and raised in the small town of Harrismith in the Free State, South Africa, by a single mother, who could barely afford my school fees. My rags to riches’ success story started out like a typical movie script. I washed cars and cut grass to pay for school, followed by 18-hour days to get through my articles and part-time tertiary education.
