Martin Muli

Martin Muli is th founder of Eyeballs Africa Ltd, www.eyeballs.co.ke, a marketing and events management company established in 2012. The company focuses on planning and executing ICT related events. Eyeballs Africa Ltd has successfully conceptualized and executed some of the best event ideas in the region. These include the annual Kenya Social Media Awards (SoMA),www.soma.or.ke, which recognizes and celebrates organizations and individuals that use Social Media to impact the society positively.

SOMA has been held since 2013 and has directly impacted more than 380 nominees and engaged more than 150,000 online participants. The 3rd Annual SOMA Awards Gala night held in 2015 attracted more than 2000 guests. The growth of SOMA Awards necessitated creation of an outreach programme called SOMA Connect, www.somaconnect.co.ke, to engage different sectors of the economy. SOMA Connect, now in its 4th Edition, is expected to train and impact at least 500 participants who in turn will be selected to offer training in the counties to transform the lives of people living in rural areas.

Eyeballs Africa Ltd also conceptualized Digital Fair, www.digital-fair.com, an event that brings together ICT players to showcase latest products and innovation in the industry.

Previos work stations include; the Nation Media Group, Coca Cola and Scangroup Ltd.

In 2008, Muli was a project coordinator of SFU Career Services, Annual Career Fair held in BC, Canada. The event recorded 15% growth compared to previous years. He was also the National project Co-ordinator for AIESEC Kenya in charge of Africa Young Entrepreneurs programme that was executed across 14 African countries. Martin Muli is a graduate from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
