Matthew Amlôt
Matthew Amlôt is the Editor of Banker Africa. Launched in 2013 the magazine focuses on covering a variety of issues that affect the banking and finance community on the African continent, from financing economic development, to best practice, and risk management. He also has several years of experience in the fintech landscape and has interviewed an assortment of start-ups and industry players in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2016 Matthew received the award for Best Journalist in the Middle East from the CFA Institute at the Middle East Financial Journalism Awards.
Matthew graduated with a BA in Politics and International Relations from Lancaster University in Britain.
