Maureen Jumwa Changawa

Maureen Jumwa Changawa has over five years’ experience in the community development sector with a focus on impact monitoring and evaluation. Currently, Maureen works as a Community Relations Officer at the Geothermal Development Company, implementing company initiatives aimed at ensuring a harmonious co-existence with the project-host communities. Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Nairobi and is pursuing a master’s in Project Planning and Management. Maureen Jumwa Changawa is driven by her vision to see public agencies deliver value and seeing communities in Kenya living a life of dignity. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Maureen plans to continue her work in community development with a focus on women and youth empowerment.
