Mbassey Manneh
Mbassey Manneh has six years of experience working with communities. She works with youth, women, and girls to transform their lives through mentorship and advocacy. She served as the regional chair and a trainer for the Activista Regional Network and currently serves as the national campaign coordinator. Mbassey is also the coordinator for Youth Empowerment through Education Sport, a youth organization which uses sport as education. Additionally, she was an administrative assistant at the Global Education Center. Mbassey Manneh has a strong passion for community volunteerism and is enthusiastic about youth and women’s empowerment initiatives. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Gender and Development and served as a graduate assistant at the Management Development Institute. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to continue empowering youth and women, further strengthening their abilities, building their capacity for self-reliance, and providing self-reliance.
