Melanie Maclachlan

Melanie Maclachlan is a registered pharmacist who started working for DTHF in 2007. She is the Responsible Pharmacist for the Emavundleni Research Pharmacy and was instrumental in registering the pharmacy with the South African Pharmacy Council and Department of Health. She has over 10 years of experience in pharmacy management and has extensive experience with pharmaceutical and NIH sponsored research, including DAIDS-funded vaccine trials. She is the back-up for the lead pharmacist for pharmacy activities at the UCT CTU, and assists in supporting all pharmacy staff working at the UCT CTU
