Method Anatoli Kashonda

Method Anatoli Kashonda is a prominent member of the accountancy profession in Tanzania. He is a Fellow member (FCCA) of The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania in the category of Fellow Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice. He holds an MBA degree in Finance and Banking from Mzumbe University, Tanzania.

Method served as a member of the International Assembly of ACCA for three consecutive terms of two years each up to 2005. He was founder president and executive committee member of the ACCA Tanzania Members Branch from 20014 to 2008. He has served on various committees of The National Board of Accountants and Auditors and a Council member of the Tanzania Association of Accountants

Method is currently Managing Partner of Globe Accountancy Services, a firm of Certified Public Accountants, Tax and Management Consultants, located in Dar es Salaam-Tanzania. Prior to joining the public practice he worked for over twenty years as Chief Financial Executive Officer of Williamson Diamonds Ltd a leading diamond mining Company in North Tanzania, and the jointly owned Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA). Method believes that the modern day accountant should be proactive in appropriately repositioning his/her services, in the fast changing and borderless world of industry and commerce.

Method is a certified director and a member of the Institute of Directors Tanzania. He has on many occasions made presentations on accounting and corporate governance issues in seminars and workshops. He, together two other colleagues, has authored a book on Liquidation Law and Practice in Tanzania.

Besides being Chairman of MKCB, Method has been a member of the NBAA Governing Board and he is currently a Board member of AAR Insurance (T) Ltd and chairman of its audit committee.

Besides his professional preoccupations, Method actively participates in community service activities through his membership to Rotary International. He previously served as Treasurer, Secretary and President of the Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam – Mzizima, and has been a member of various committees of the same club.
