Michael Lowman is a South African music artist born in Durban. This singer-songwriter is drawing audiences all around the world with his sultry, smoky vocals and catchy, melodic tunes about love, loss and adventure.
Michael Lowman grew up listening to artists such as The Beatles and Eric Clapton which influenced his music style today. The death of his father at the tender age of ten, influenced his outlook of life, giving him an older outlook on life, and assisted in creating the material he needed to write songs. At the age of 17, he started playing the guitar, and soon after he was writing his own music and singing.
Michael Lowman’s debut album “Crayon Boxes” earned him a nomination in the2014 SAMA’s for Best Adult Contemporary Album. His hit songs “Your Lovin’ Ain’t Right,” “Crayon Boxes” and “Home Again” are making waves on the local radio stations making Michael Lowman a household name.
