At only 22 Moosa took a loan a purchased a struggling Spar supermarket and turned it into a profitable business

At the age of 28 Moosa started the company PEDROS FLAME GRILLED CHICKEN. Pedros is South Africa’s fastest-growing chicken franchise. In just under 4 years Pedros opened 100 stores! 2 of these years were covid in which we saw many other businesses closing.

Moosa is a true leader who possesses experience well above his age.

Moosa currently has 3000 employees under his leadership at Pedros and Pedros has grown to 117 stores with 2 stores out of South Africa. This is an amazing achievement for a 33-year-old.

Moosa’s leadership has speared the creation of a CSI division. Pedros CSI division undertakes various projects weekly to uplift the community. Whether it be free food to flood victims in KZN, orphanages, feeding schemes, disadvantaged schools or even informal settlements that have been burnt or affected. During the KZN riots, Pedros flew private planes from JHB to KZN to assist those affected with groceries. To date Pedros CSI and donation projects are lengthy and wide-reaching

Moosa is the winner of the Roshgold young business achiever of the Year Award 2019. He also won the 2022 Minara Business Award. At his age, he is a force to reckon with
