Mpho Makola

Born in Alexandra, “Bibo” was spotted by Free State Stars in 2008 in the Walter Sisulu Tournament. His first professional game for Stars was against Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup, and was a great feeling for him because it was the first time his mother came to see him playing live.

The South African international then joined the Buccaneers during the 2012-2013 season. This big Zinedine Zidane fan wants to be remembered as an example on and off the pitch for the fans, and to bring joy to them by winning trophies for the club. Outside football, Mpho is currently running a foundation and a charity to give back to his community. He would love to go back to school to prepare his after career.
