Greg Davis

Greg Davis oversees and ensures strategic management of all financial and fiscal aspects of the Bank’s finance operations.

Greg Davis joined Ecobank from Standard Bank Africa, where he was the Chief Financial Officer for all Standard bank operations on the continent, outside South Africa. He was responsible for strategy and execution of the finance function, with 400 staff members across 19 African countries.

Before that, Greg was Finance Director, Corporate Banking Africa, at Barclays Bank. Greg has also worked with the Barclays Western Europe Retail Bank, Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Banking, and prior to this with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Greg holds a bachelor degree in Economic and Social History from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
