Mr. James Appietu-Ankrah

Mr. James Appietu-Ankrah was appointed as a Director of the company on September 5, 2017.  He has an extensive background and experience in Insurance and Risk Management.

He is an Executive Director of Dezag Insurance Brokers and was the Member of Parliament for Lower West Akim Constituency from 2005-2008.

Mr. Appietu-Ankrah served in various capacities at SIC Insurance from Branch Manager, Head of Marketing, Head of Reinsurance and Area Manager for the Northern Sector over a 30 year period with the company. He also served as the Chairman, Finance and Administration Sub-Committee of the West Akim District Assembly.

He is a product of the University of Cape Coast with an MA in Democracy, Governance, Law and Development, Cambridge Tutorial College, Jersey, UK with a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, the West Africa Insurance Institute, Monrovia, Liberia with a Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management, Chartered Insurance Institute, UK with a Certificate in Insurance and the Adisadel College. Stays in Ghana.
