Mr. Philibert Afrika

Philibert Afrika is a Development Economist with a solid experience in the field of financing for development, project management and strategic policy formulation. He worked for 30 years with the African Development Bank where he occupied high managerial functions including Secretary General, Director of Policy, Director of Operations and Director of Regional integration. Philibert Afrika is a graduate of the University of Ibadan Nigeria and holds a Master’s Degree in Monetary Economics. He attended various professional training programs in renowned universities including the Executive Management Development Program at Harvard Business School. Throughout his career as a Development Economist, he has traveled extensively within and outside Africa and he has had a strong exposure with higher financial institutions within and outside the continent and in Rwanda.
