Muhammad Salisu Abdullahi
Muhammad Salisu Abdullahi has over three years’ experience in waste management and recycling, particularly plastic wastes. Salisu is the founder and CEO of Haleematus-Sa`adiyya Enterprises, in which capacity he supervises staff to collect, process, and recycle plastic waste into polythene materials. His role also involves product marketing. Salisu also volunteers in Youth Coalition Against Terrorism (YOCAT), which is a youth-led NGO that unites youth against violent extremism in Northern Nigeria. Muhammad Salisu Abdullahi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Salisu plans to make lumber from plastic wastes and also expand into recycling a variety of other post-consumer wastes into eco-friendly and reusable products.
