Naalona Sandrine Hien
Naalona Sandrine Hien is a medical doctor with more than three years of experience in the health sector. Currently, she is working at Centre MURAZ, a health research institute, as an investigator in a clinical trial. She tests new Ebola virus vaccines. Naalona Sandrine Hien is pursuing a degree in public health with a focus in epidemiology. Sandrine also has over ten years of experience in community work. She is a founding member of the International Leo’s Club and Lion’s Club chapters in Bobo Teria. She is deeply committed to children’s education and women’s healthcare, organizing screening activities and awareness campaigns. She strongly believes that women’s empowerment is the basis of sustainable community development. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), Sandrine plans to build a network of women leaders from various sectors to promote the financial independence of women in rural areas.
