Nazeem Ebrahim
Mr Nazeem Ebrahim serves on the Board of Directors of Oasis Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd as the Executive Director: Legal, Compliance & Marketing. He concurrently sits on the boards of six regulated financial services companies within the domain of Oasis Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd; viz. Oasis Asset Management Ltd, and Oasis Crescent Capital (Pty) Ltd respectively, two regulated Asset Management companies in South Africa; Oasis Crescent Property Fund Managers Ltd, and Oasis Crescent Management Company Ltd respectively, two authorized Mutual Fund Administration companies in South Africa and Oasis Retirement Solutions (Pty) Ltd, an authorized Retirement Fund Administrator in South Africa. In addition, he is also a Director of both Oasis Global Investment Fund (plc), and Crescent Global Investment Fund (plc); both listed Collective Investment Schemes on the Irish Stock Exchange. He currently also holds an Executive position on the Board of Oasis Crescent Property Fund Ltd, a South African JSE Stock Exchange listed, Shari’ah-Compliant, closed-ended property investment fund.
Nazeem Ebrahim has been involved with the Board of Oasis Group Holdings (Pty) Ltd in an advisory capacity since its inception in 1997. In 1999, he was formally appointed to his current post. He was educated at the University of Cape Town and has obtained two degrees, namely B.Soc.Sci. and a B.Proc. In 1986, Mr Ebrahim was admitted as an Attorney, and subsequently in 1996, he was admitted as an Attorney to the High Court of South Africa. His professional experience includes over twenty years of business and professional legal practice. He is an official member of the Industry Supervision Standing Committee of the Association of Collective Investments of South Africa. He has served on the Board of the Institute of Retirement Funds, the Association of Collective Investment Schemes, and the Investment Managers Association of South Africa. Mr Nazeem Ebrahim has completed formal qualifications from the Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg which qualifies him to serve as a Director on the ALT X Board of the JSE
