Neel’s extensive experience ranges from being a member of the S.A Navy and Jalsena band as a trumpeter to leading rolls in over 12 major production, 2 Album releases with songs written and self-composed, receiving accolades such as reaching number 1 status on numerous radio and television stations , music video of the year nomination ,appearing and performing in various multimedia corporate advertisements, product launches , television advertisements, television guest appearances, front-lining for well-known bands such as Strawberry Fields and Mixed Flavour.

Neels has received formal training from the likes of Mike Perry, Zia Garfield, Dawn Selby/De Wet Wright/Susan Butler and Latin American and ballroom training from Armand Mynhardt. He has produced, scripted, directed and choreographed his own productions.
