Nicholas Kalyango

A skilled, passionate and self-driven Association manager who has spent the last 16 years in top leadership of national trade Association. 

Nicholas is the current General Manager/ CEO of The Uganda Association of Travel Agents (TUGATA), a private sector leading Association of Travel Agents in Uganda. 

For the past decade he holds extensive experience in managing voluntary Boards, leading staff, mobilizing resources, negotiating with partners and stakeholders to meet the ever-increasing demands of members. 

He has been in instrumental in exploring sustainability of trade associations and has helped negotiate partnership with various Tourism boards with South African Tourism (SAT), Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET), Abu Dhabi Tourism, Seychelles Tourism Board, etc.

He has represented trade association of various forums in travel such as International Air Transport Association (IATA), United Federation of Travel Agents Association (UFTAA), Agents Passenger Joint Council (APJC) and has attended Travel Agents Summits as speaker in addition to marketing membership services at Trade fairs.
