Nkem Christiana Okocha
Nkem Christiana Okocha has almost four years’ experience in community development, with a focus on economic empowerment of low-income women. Nkem Christiana Okocha is the Founder of Mamamoni, a FinTech platform that enables individuals invest in poor women in Nigeria by lending to them to fund their businesses. Since inception, she has impacted over 4000 poor women in different communities in Nigeria. Nkem is passionate about helping poor women break the cycle of poverty; she does this through provision of sustainable livelihood skills and access to finance. Nkem holds a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Lagos State University. Upon her return from The Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to scale Mamamoni’s operation to reach more women across Nigeria.
