Nosipho Jezile-Ngcaba
Nosipho Jezile-Ngcaba was appointed to her current position in July 2008. She holds a BSc degree and a higher diploma in education from the University of the Western Cape as well as certificates in quality assurance, financial management practice and business management. Ngcaba is currently enrolled for a Master’s degree in business leadership with the University of South Africa. She has 12 years’ professional experience, six years of which were in senior management positions focusing on strategic leadership, public service administration, performance management, project management and financial accountability. Nosipho Jezile-Ngcaba served as a chief operating officer in the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism from 2005 to 2008, and as chief director: Social Responsibility and Projects from 2003 to 2005. Other roles have included serving in the Department of Economic Affairs, Environment and Tourism in the Eastern Cape, as regional programme leader in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape, and assisting with the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry’s Working for Water Programme from 1998 to 2000.
