Noura Abdi
Noura Abdi has over three years’ experience in disaster risk management, urban development, and environmental issues. Noura Abdi holds a Master’s in Environment and Development from the University of Lorraine, France where she focused on disaster-planning, risk-management, and water resources management in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Currently she works as a Disaster Risk Management Consultant for the World Bank and is also a member of Perim Associates, a group that provides focused and expert services to multinational companies, governments, and law firms. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), Noura plans to continue her work in disaster risk-management and urban development with the World Bank. She also plans to work in an Acute Care and Screening Network Initiative that aims to develop a series of acute care clinics along the road corridor linking Djibouti with Ethiopia
