Oghenevwoke Shehu Usman Ighure

Oghenevwoke Shehu Usman Ighure is an economist and statistician with work experience across different sectors including information technology, management consulting, agriculture, retailing, oil, and energy. Oghenevwoke Shehu Usman Ighure currently leads the strategy and corporate development initiative for West Africa’s largest business and financial media corporation. In this capacity, he has led the organization’s international expansion across sub Saharan Africa and increased their business portfolio to include research, training, consulting services, and conferences. He has also helped them build the first digital news service platform in West Africa. He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Upon completion of the Washington Fellowship, Oghenevwoke plans to work on empowerment workshops and set up innovation centers / business incubators for young entrepreneurs in Lagos and Delta, Nigeria.
