Ogone Oscar Mokoko Gaboutloeloe

Ogone Oscar Mokoko Gaboutloeloe is the Air Botswana General Counsel and Director Legal Services. He is also a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Legal Advisory Council.

Ogone Oscar Mokoko Gaboutloeloe is an admitted attorney with an LLB from the University of Botswana, an MSc Strategic Management and Master of Commerce in Trade Law and Policy from the University of Cape Town. He is a proud lifelong member of the Boy Scouts Movement and volunteers on the Botswana Football Association FIFA First Instance Body. Mr. Gaboutloeloe is a recipient of the Presidential Certificate of Honour (PCH).

In his appointment to the IATA Legal Advisory Council, he joins a team of professionals mandated to advice the Board of Governors and other bodies on legal and compliance issues facing both IATA and member airlines. Appointments to the Legal Committee take into consideration industry expertise, potential contribution to the Committee’s work, regional representation and the views of the Committee members.
