Ousmane Aly Coulibaly

Ousmane Aly Coulibaly is an Ivorian, born in Abidjan and a member of the ethnic group Mangoro of Katiola, reputed for the quality of its pottery. The revaluation of traditional Ivorian pottery is one of his leitmotivs. Ousmane’s interests also center around the history of peoples, especially those of Africa, advanced science and technology, and endurance sports.Ousmane Aly Coulibaly’s academic background scientific and culminated in a Petroleum Engineer diploma in 2016. Since then, he has worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Petroci, the national oil company of Cote d’Ivoire. His flagship project is his company, Miri Engineering Limited, founded in 2016, whose objective is to find the ideal material for the construction of sub-Saharan African housing in replacement of cement and concrete, which are not adapted to the ambient conditions, especially in terms of thermal regulation. A harmonious integration of renewable energies is also envisaged.
