Pacifique Essereke

Pacifique Essereke is a subsurface geologist and an aspiring environment-oriented entrepreneur. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Loango. With over a year of experience in the oil industry with Weatherford, Pacifique Essereke has supervised the geological operations for onshore and offshore wells for ENI Congo, from which he developed a profound awareness of waste management and pollution prevention. Pacifique volunteers at the Junior Chamber International Victory (JCI Victory), a nonprofit organization which aims to make young people active in their communities through citizenship, volunteerism, and entrepreneurship. He also runs a broad-based student platform to help his peers unlock their potential through personal development activities. He is skilled in project management and risks analysis. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Pacifique plans to create Eco-Waste Congo Services(Africa), a startup focused on cleaning services and waste management to positively impact people as well as the environment.
