Patrick Mugiraneza
Patrick Mugiraneza has over four years of experience in the agricultural sector, specifically focusing on mentoring young people. Patrick is a co-founder of Agriyouth Rwanda Initiative, a youth-led organization where he focuses on helping youth in agriculture gain technical skills to create jobs for themselves and the communities surrounding them. He also provides lectures on agricultural related subjects at the College of Agriculture within the University of Rwanda. Patrick Mugiraneza holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security from the Royal Agricultural University in the United Kingdom. Patrick is driven by his commitment to using agriculture and create solutions to the problems of poverty and youth unemployment. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Patrick plans to launch a ‘Mentor Me’ project to provide mentorship support to young people in agriculture.
