Paul B Mureithi

Paul B Mureithi, The Director of Operations, Mr. Paul B Mureithi, joined the Bank in July 2017. Paul B Mureithi is a Bachelor of Science holder from Nairobi University, majoring in Urban & Regional Planning. He also holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration majoring in Strategy & Business Systems from the Maastricht School of Management and Eastern Africa School of Management (ESAMI). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Systems Design in the Modern Banking Era.

Paul has various certifications in Project Management, Change Management and Lean Six Sigma

Prior to joining National Bank, Paul worked in various capacities within the region, having served at Barclays Bank and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan and Rwanda. His career in Banking spans over 27 years

He is a career Banker who has held various senior management positions with the most recent position being Head of Operations and Logistics in KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd. Before that, he held the following positions within KCB Bank, Group Head, Operational Excellence; Project Manager, T24R08 Implementation; Senior Manager – Strategy & Change among other positions. He has a wealthy of expertise in Banking Operations especially in the areas of Clearing Operations, Treasury Operations, Trade Services, Cash Management, Centralized Operations, Banking Systems, Project Management and Change Management.
