Peter Bacon

Peter was appointed as independent non-executive director and Chairman of Atlantic Leaf on 8 July 2014. Peter has over 38 years’ experience in the hospitality, resorts and gaming industry. He is currently a nonexecutive director of Sun International Holdings and previously served as an executive director of Sun International’s board from 1994 and as the group’s Chief Executive from 1994 until 2006. Peter also served as a director of Woolworths Holdings Limited until November 2017. In addition, he previously served as Chairman of each of the National Sea Rescue Institute, Cape Town Routes Unlimited and the Tourism Grading Council Awards Committee.
