Phat Joe

Born Majota Kambule, Phat Joe is one of the most bold on-air radio personalities in the country and has had numerous newspaper headlines for his downright outspokenness.

With 18 years on air, he has an incredible track record. He was one of the pioneering DJs at Yfm, and his huge presence on air led to the launch of “Phat Joe Live” on eTV and SABC1 after which he moved on to Metro FM and most recently Kaya FM where he dominated the Gauteng airwaves in South Africa.

He combines a keen insight of society with a cynical wit that veers entertainingly and erratically between silly and sublime.

He co-hosts SABC1’s “The Real Goboza”, dating show Take Me Out SA & Hosts the weekend morning show on Metro FM.
