Phatsimo Mosimanegape

Phatsimo Mosimanegape is a young  Motswana who is passionate about development issues of Africa . Phatsimo Mosimanegape  specialties in negotiation, organisational, policy making, proposal writing, mobilizing, customer care, NGOs, Human Resource Training & Development.

She currently is a Team Leader- Placement, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department at Botho University. Here responsibilities at the university are to supervise a team in a newly formed department responsible for co-ordination of all skill development efforts across the University.

The department will strive to remove disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower by equipping students and alumni with “beyond classrooms” skills. This is done by easing the student’s journey in maneuvering from University life by skill up-gradation initiatives, building of new skills, and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.

The department also intends to work with the existing network of skill development centers and other alliances in the Industry. Further, collaborations with industry players have been initiated for multi-level engagement and more impactful implementation of skill development efforts.

Phatsimo Mosimanegape is former Executive Affiliates Committee Member at Botswana National Youth Council and former Regional Associate at Youth Alliance for Leadership & Development in Africa (YALDA) in Botswana.
