Phuti Phukubje

Phuti Phukubje started his article training with Auditor General SA (AGSA) in 2004. He completed his articles in 2007. He started working for SARS in 2007 as Assistant Manager- Audit specialising in the SARS audits. In 2007 he qualified as a Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS and Institute of Tax practitioners.

He is a qualified Business Accountant with South African Institute of Business Accountants(SAIBA). Qualified as RGA(SA) by the South African Institute of Government Accountants and Auditors(SAIGA) in South Africa.

2010 November he became a Senior Manager(Partner) in the communication portfolio at the AGSA responsible for NEMISA, USAASA, USAF, SABC, Sentech, Post Office and DOC.

In 2013 Phuti Phukubje joined Sentech SOC Ltd as an Executive Audit & Investigation. 2018 March he started his own successful auditing firm KEP Chartered Accountant.

In March 2018 March appointed as the Interim CEO at NEMISA NPC.

Prior to that he was deputy Chair of Audit & Risk Committee(ARC) at IPID appointed by the then Minister of Police Nathi Mthethwa. He was also a member of ARC at Police Civilian Secretariat.  He was also a member of NEMISA Board & chair of ARC. He is still currently the chair of ARC at MDDA appointed by the then Minister of Communications Nomvula Mokonyane.
