Pieter Holl

Adv Pieter Holl obtained the degrees B. Iuris and Bachelor of Laws from the North-West University and University of South Africa (UNISA) respectively. He completed several courses in leadership and management and is an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors, Southern Africa. He has in the past and continues to hold seats on various boards and committees. He has worked as a Partner at the Law Firm, Van Schoor and Höll Legal Advisors and was the former Deputy Director-General (DDG) responsible for Business Regulation and Governance at the Department of Economic Development in the Gauteng Provincial Government. He has worked in various government departments throughout his career and has been appointed as the CEO of the Innovation Hub with effect from 1 December 2018. Adv Holl has extensive experience in governance, drafting of legislation and economic development in general. He has a passion for entrepreneurship and promoting a culture for innovation with the objective to ensure the enhancement of business growth through the incubation of innovative companies and the creation of new business opportunities for start-up companies. Further development of the Innovation Hub into a state-of-the-art Science and Technology Park is high on his priority list.
