Prof. Olive Mugenda

Olive Mugenda (63) holds a Ph.D and an M.Sc in Family Studies, Education, Consumer Sciences and Research Methods from Iowa State University (USA), an MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute and a B.Ed from the University of Nairobi. Olive Mugenda was the Vice-Chancellor of Kenyatta University from 2006 until her retirement in March 2016, and has also held various senior lecturing positions at the University from 1984. Prof. Mugenda joined the board as an independent non-executive director in September 2010 and is a member of the Editorial and the Human Resources and Remuneration Committees in Kenya.
