Prudence Ndabasanze

Prudence Ndabasanze

Prudence Ndabasanze has over three years of experience in biodiversity conservation and natural resources management in Rwanda. He coordinated a project in the conservation of birds and biodiversity in the Lake Victoria Basin, focusing on local empowerment and engaging local communities in sustainable conservation. Prudence Ndabasanze volunteered with WWF International on the conservation of mangroves and climate change adaptation in Madagascar, and he continues to volunteer with environmental organizations. Prudence holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Conservation and is currently completing his master’s in Geo-Information in Environment and Sustainable Development at the University of Rwanda. During his profession, he hopes to get hands-on experience in sustainable development of the environment. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Prudence plans to continue his work in natural resources management and biodiversity conservation, with a focus on youth empowerment and engagement in order to build a community where people live in harmony with nature.
