Rapulane Sidney Molekane

A former high commissioner to Ghana, Ambassador Rapulane Sidney Molekane was appointed to his current position in March 2010.

He holds certificates in Management and Diplomatic Training from the Foreign Institute, and he also studied at the Soweto College of Education from 1981 to 1984.

Ambassador Rapulane Sidney Molekane served in the first democratically elected Parliament in 1994, where he chaired the Parliamentary portfolio committee on Safety and Security, before joining the then Department of Foreign Affairs in 1999, South Africa.

His professional career includes appointments as consulgeneral to Munich, Germany, from 1999 to 2003 and high commissioner to Ghana from 2004 to 2008.
