Richard joined Standard Chartered in 2018 with a mandate to build a world class advisory led sector team. Now in early 2023, Standard Chartered ranks as one of the top global M&A advisors in the sector with a whole series of mandates from the majors and a growing reputation for executing complicated transactions in the battery materials supply chain. In addition to leadership in M&A, Richard has developed a highly capable team fluent in energy transition finance. Prior to Standard Chartered, Richard worked for pioneers in the sector including RBC Capital Markets, JPMorgan/Flemings and Hatch. 

Richard graduated from Oxford University with a MA in PPE and is a Chartered Accountant.
