Rudolf Schirmer Ampofo-Domfeh (born on 8 July 1989) is a Ghanaian Businessman, Innovator, Investor and Global Business Owner known for founding Augson Global and initiating Augson Investment Program (AuSIP) committed to uplifting the lives of the low- and middle-income and contributing to poverty reduction in Ghana. He is the Founder and Chairman of The Rudolf & Schirmers Enterprises, a family-owned holdings company and conglomerate responsible for controlling and managing companies such as Augson Global, Format Builders & Contractors Ltd, The Schirmer Investments Ltd and The Schirmers Group Inc., with assets and investments owned by Rudolf Schirmer and the Schirmer Ampofo-Domfeh family.

Biography

He is an innovator and entrepreneur with over a decade in business leadership, experienced in all aspects of business formation, operation, finance and management. He is a visionary product developer with deep education in research and analytics. He is an effective communicator and motivator who identifies and leverage assets in teammates to reach organizational goals. Relentless optimist who believes there’s no failure, only feedback.

He enrolled into the Catholic University of Ghana to study Economics and Business administration. In 2007, after high school graduation, Rudolf Schirmer started a number of business activities and initiatives under his sole proprietorship which grew up to become Augson Global and its subsidiaries.

Rudolf Schirmer has strong command of business and management principles as they pertain to development, resource allocation, production methods and leading others. He has deep technical background in business analytics with experience using project management and their interface software. As a motivated team player with excellent public speaking ability and oral written and interpersonal communication, he is an initiator and problem-solver using creativity, resourcefulness, and assets to break down and overcome organizational obstacles. Rudolf Schirmer is a lifelong learner committed to staying on top of the best current and emerging business practices, especially in an international context.

Rudolf Schirmer is the owner and founder of Augson Global, Format Builders & Contractors Ltd, The Schirmer Investments Ltd and The Schirmers Group Inc. His interests are energy & power, property development & realty, agriculture, media & entertainment, equipment & Engineering, construction, mining, investments and retail.

Initiatives

Rudolf Schirmer over the years had a foresight to be a major development partner of Ghana. Due to this, he introduced an investment initiative termed as Augson Investment Program(AuSIP) with a US$ 50million threshold for projects to enhance food production, job creation and poverty reduction.
The initiative is increasing the output of small-medium-scale food crop producers through the provision of farm inputs on credit, and access to market. AuSIP is providing more students and social accommodation at affordable rates to universities and communities; rental spaces and more sizable, safer, clean and conducive environment for buying and selling as well as stimulus packages to agro-processing enterprises especially women and youth owned.
