Ruth Andrade Kamutali

Ruth Andrade Kamutali has worked in various areas, including as an administrative assistant, as a check-at the Lisbon Airport, and as a logistics assistant. Over the past four years, Ruth has been working in procurement at an Italian oil company. As a buyer, her main responsibilities are drafting viable contractual strategies, and conducting commercial evaluations and negotiations, but she is also involved in issuing reports and monitoring project timelines directly with senior management. Ruth is currently pursuing a Law degree at a local university in Angola. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Ruth Andrade Kamutali intends to secure seed funding in order to kickstart a project that involves addressing the need for foundation skills for rural farmers. This will enable them to become more commercially productive and at the same time develop the agricultural industry in Angola .
