Ruth Ngobi

Ruth Ngobi is a Company Secretary at British American Tobacco Kenya Ltd. Ruth was educated in both Kenya and the UK and qualified as a lawyer in 1985. She previously worked with Unilever Kenya Limited for 15 years as Company Secretary before joining BAT Kenya in 2002 as Company Secretary and Area Legal Counsel. She retired from full time employment with BAT Kenya in 2010 but retained her role as Company Secretary.

Ruth Ngobi founded Cosec Solutions which provides Company secretarial services and corporate governance solutions to various companies.

She is a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Stanbic Bank Limited, Stanbic Holdings Limited and SBG Securities Limited.
