Saadiq Effendi
Saadiq Effendi is the Founder and CEO of LIONLEAD, a 100% black-owned Real Estate agency situated in De Waterkant, Cape Town.
Saadiq is a graduate of UCT Graduate School of Business where he received a diploma in Management Practice, specialising in business improvement. He spent 10 years working as a Human Resources professional within the Hospitality Industry gaining valuable experience as Human Resources & Development Manager.
After deciding to trade in the corporate lifestyle, Saadiq changed his career to Real Estate. He started with a real estate internship at Harcourts Sterling which lead him to be headhunted by Tyson Properties Atlantic Seaboard. Saadiq has been really successful with dominating his markets and has led to becoming a Platinum Achiever for 2017/2018 and then a Diamond Achiever 2018/2019 financial year. These accolades go hand-in-hand with record-breaking sales, for the “Most Expensive Home” Sold in Green Point and “R90 Million SOLD” in the 2018/2019 financial year. His dream was always to own and operate his own real estate agency. This is how LIONLEAD Real Estate was born.
In his spare time, he enjoys training at the local gym, playing squash and reading non-fiction books that relate to biographies, business and psychology. Saadiq is a refined and detailed orientated person, this can be seen in his fashion and interior design style. Much like most South Africans, Saadiq is a foodie and enjoys trying new menus at all the local restaurants and bars hotspots in and around the Capital Cities of South Africa.

Saadiq Effendi recruits young people from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, with no formal education and teaches them real estate skills and puts them through formal training institutions to get them qualified. The opportunity affords these interns to compete in a City that is saturated with Real Estate Agencies and Agents that have been around for years.
Saadiq has always assisted those in need regarding any training (inside and outside of his firm) and within his community with the influence he has obtained over the years gained by working with high end clients and business partners.
