Saliou Diao Barry

Saliou Diao Barry has over three years’ experience in various fields of the rural community development sector, particularly in business and entrepreneurship. Saliou Diao Barry is currently the logistics assistant for the French Red Cross in Guinea, and in charge of supply and purchasing management, equipment management, stock follow-up, monitoring generators, vehicle fuelling, and receiving donations,. He also volunteers as the leader of a village wellness project, Coguiapres, which he co-founded. Saliou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Business from the University of Sonfonia in Conakry, and upon the completion of the Mandela Washington fellowship(Africa), he plans to continue his work in setting up machines to extract red oils from palm trees, in rural areas of Guinea, in order to eradicate poverty.
