Samuel Hosack

Mr Hosack is a third generation Zimbabwean, living between Western Australia and Zimbabwe. He holds a Bachelors Engineering Degree (Hons) from Essex University in UK, MBA from Ashcroft Business School (UK), AICD and respective professional registrations.
Mr Hosack has gained first hands on experience in the delivery of large scale mining, power and port projects to market, as well as their operations during a 12 year career with First Quantum Minerals Ltd, primarily in their Projects team. Mr Hosack project managed the building of a port (coal offloading and copper loading), 120km 230KV transmission line and a 300MV coal fired power station for the Minera Panama Project in Panama as his last undertaking for FQM.
This mining and operations experience in North and Southern Africa, Europe, Australia, and Central America was central in delivering the Arcadia Project, subsequently sold in 2022 thought to be the largest private mining transaction in Zimbabwe since independence. The focus in 2023 is in building Prospect into a diversified mining business through exploration and acquisitions from the retained cash balance of A$30m.
