Sebetlela Oletile Sebetlela

Sebetlela Oletile Sebetlela is the Board Chairman of Botswana Power Corporation. Mr. Sebetlela holds a Metallurgical Engineering qualification from Cambrian College in Canada. Mr. Sebetlela has worked extensively for the Debswana / De Beers group from 1980 to 2008 where he was appointed, amongst others, in the fully key positions;

General Manager, Jwaneng Mine, 2003;
General Manager, Orapa & Letlhakane Mines, 2005 to 2008.
In 2009, Mr. Sebetlela joined Tati Nickel Mining Company (Pty) Ltd as the General Manager & Director where he remained until to 2011, when he left to set up a Consultancy firm, Sebetlela Holdings (Pty) Ltd, of which he is the founding Director. Mr. Sebetlela is currently the Regional Operations Manager at PPC Aggregate Quarries Botswana a position he has held since August 2012. Mr. Sebetlela serves in the Botswana Chamber of Mines Board as a Deputy Chairman. He is also the Chairman of the National Human Resources Advisory Council at the Ministry of Minerals, Energy & Water Resources.
